Spa Roller Coaster

A city in Japan is teasing plans of the world’s first spa-themed amusement park.

Nagashima Spa Land is a major amusement park in Kuwana, Japan. It features several roller coasters, thrill&kid rides, a giant Ferris wheel and a water park. It is the 18th most visited amusement park in the world.

This roller coaster has hot tubs to sit in instead of seats. It's crazy genius, isn't it?

In a concept video, Beppu City on Kyushu island showed off an idea for a new spamusement park. It took 12 tonnes of locally-sourced hot spring water to make the advertisement. (Click on the pic below to watch the video!)

Beppu’s mayor announced in the end of the video that if the ad accumulates 1 million views, the city would begin working on making this idea a reality. Until it will be finished, we show you some other attractions which can be used currently.

Beppu is already an onsen tourist destination with its more than 2000 hot springs. The city recently set the goal to become the spa city of the world. This lovely place welcomed around 440000 foreign tourists in the last year.

This amazing water park offers a sensation of rafting, leading into a screaming, velocity-building drop that launches riders up the unique Boomerango™ wall. This attracton makes them feel like they are going vertical then weightless while getting a bird’s eye view of what is coming next.
